As long as the clean command is not implemented with comparablefunctionality,missingan importantbuilding blockto produceaccurategeometries. Maybe the tool "Repair" can be extended.
I recently discovered the Integrate command myself as referenced also in the link above, and found it useful for cleaning up badly digitized polygons (overlaps, gaps): "Integrate" geoprocessing tool
The ability to flatten polygons without having to click on each overlap is necessary. The coverage dataset only allowed overlaps using regions. We need this data structure back, I can't do my work without it.
