Its Imperative to consolidate Log Files generated in the "server" (3-tier architecutre) to be included in ArcSDE System Tables.
The SDE Geodatabase Administrator should have a "centralized" log files repository for troubleshooting.
Logs can be generated to capture communication between the DBMS and individual clients. These will not be aggregated and automatically stored within the geodatabase itself.
