We just finished another great Esri User Conference for 2021. Although the event has officially wrapped up, the UC platform will remain open until October 13, 2021. We encourage you to continue your experience and visit the UC platform to re-watch the Plenary Sessions, view technical workshops, learn about sponsors and exhibitors, and more.

During the conference, members of the geodatabase team presented a session about how to improve data quality with contingent values, attribute rules, and branch versioning. You can download the presentation’s slides, review the information presented, and access additional learning materials.

This was a popular session, given the high attendance rate and the great number of questions that came throughout the presentation. During the live Q&A, the presenters and subject matter experts’ answered some of your questions, but we were not able to get through all of them.

We know the best learning method is by asking questions. This is why we want to share all the questions posted during this session, as well as the answers from our experts.

Here are some example questions related to Branch Versioning and Attributes Rules:

You can access the entire set of questions in the attached excel spreadsheet. The questions are grouped by categories, to reflect the main concepts of the session: Attribute Rules, Branch Versioning, and Contingent Values.

We hope the content presented at this year conference was helpful  and the members of the geodatabase team are looking forward to meet with you next year!
