A few weeks ago I shared an animated map of Galápagos albatross movements, and a lot of people asked how it was put together.
Rather than writing up a traditional how-to, I ended up turning the workflow into a Story Map. It walks through the same process behind the animation, from raw tracking points to time-aware movement tracks, with a bit more context and fewer screenshots crammed into a blog post.
