Dr Hamlton was the first Director of the Univ of California’s newest research reserve, Blue Oak Ranch Reserve.

2019 Status: Recently retired after serving as the Blue Oak Ranch Reserve Director, Dr. Hamilton has adopted a self-described lord of the rings quest for the one perfect camping spot, to rule them all. Here he is in 2019, in a traditional Hamilton Clan kilt, his stalwart companion "Broican" the camper by his side, en route from park to park across the west.
