This section is devoted to the different ways that conservation GIS workers and practitioners around the world get together, collaborate and support one another. The premiere community organization for Conservation GIS is the Society for Conservation GIS. Other organizations and scientific societies with strong involvement in conservation GIS include the International Association of Landscape Ecology, the California Native Plant Society, the Society for Conservation Biology, and many more
