When idea A gets merged to idea B, does A’s kudos get automatically added to B?

Yes, when Idea A gets merged with Idea B, then the kudos of Idea A will be merged into the kudos for idea B. If a single user has kudoed both ideas, only one of their kudos will be counted, so it will not be double kudoed.
