Is anyone else having an issue pasting screenshots to their posts?  Stopped working for me recently, I need to save the screenshot then drag and drop to attach where previously I could copy and paste. Wondering if it was changes to my computer or changes to the community format.

Also the preview function for attachments is no longer working and wondering the same if something changed on my end or the community side?

An update on this: The copy and paste issue for images has been confirmed by our platform vendor, and they have a fix tentatively planned for April. As was noted elsewhere in this conversation, images can still be dragged and dropped or uploaded into posts.

Regarding the issue affecting certain types of attached files not showing previews, we now understand that there is a media service that was suspended in December that had enabled Microsoft Office documents like .docx and .xlsx to have inline previews in Esri Community. While these files can still be uploaded and downloaded as attachments, they will no longer have the previews. We do understand how that was convenient and apologize for the unanticipated change!

I'm not having any problem with dragging and dropping screenshots.

no issues with drag and drop, just copy/paste.

I noticed this yesterday. Thought there was an issue with my system. I saved the image and then was able to upload it, but copy/paste (which is very handy) was unresponsive.

Yeah, I had the same problem, too.

Thanks for confirming, @Neal_t_k. I found the same thing during my testing: that while copying and pasting images into the body of a post didn't work, there were no issues with uploading or dragging and dropping images in. I've escalated the copy/paste issue for further investigation.

As for the issue you reported about being unable to see attachment previews—could you provide some examples? In my testing, I didn't have any issue seeing previews for attached .png, .jpg, or .pdf files. I'm wondering if there was a different file type you're referring to and what type of post (Question, Blog, Document, etc.) that you saw this take place on?

You used to be able to preview xlsx and docx files, that option is no longer available.  PNG/JPG preview works fine.

Appreciate the confirmation, @Neal_t_k. I've tested it just now and updated my escalation with that detail.
