Blog Teaser Text Not Displayed?

I entered text in the Article Teaser field for the following blog post, however, I do not see it displayed as expected when I view the Latest Activity for that community. Instead is displaying the first few lines of the post itself.

How does one get the teaser text to work?

I see it here.  It doesn't show when you are on the actual blog

I see the first few lines of the post there, rather than the teaser text.

(You probably have to hit "Load more" a few times at this point.)

Yes, it doesn't appear there.

That could be by design, assuming that people subscribe to certain communities, the teaser may be targeted for them.

It could also be a flaw, so I will flag

@MichelleMathias and @LouBranscomb to see if that is the case

Hi @PeterKnoop,

The text you enter in the Article Teaser Section, it will not show up in the Blog Section, so you will need to copy that text from your Article Teaser Section to the Blog Section if you want it included with your blog content.

The Article Teaser Section will feature in the Blog Board only and once people open your blog by clicking more > they will see your full blog. 

In summary, the intended experience is:

Article Teaser introduces your text in the Blog Board

Once a reader is interested in reading further from browsing the Blog Board, they click your full blog

I am not expecting the Teaser Text to show up in the blog's content. 

I am, however, expecting the Teaser Text to appear anywhere a snippet of the blog is surfaced.

For example, as you and @DanPatterson have pointed out, the Teaser Text is correctly shown for Latest Activity on the Blog Board.

In other locations where the same kind of card or snippet view is presented for Latest Activity purposes, however,  such as Latest Activity under the Community view (https://community.esri.com/) or Latest Activity in my own profile, then the Teaser text is not being displayed. Instead the top of the blog content is being shown. 

I would expect it to behave the same way in all the places you are showing an excerpt for Latest Activity purposes?
