The value: When Blog posts are saved as a draft, it may not be evident where that draft lives once the author is ready to continue working with it. A completed draft may also be saved in the Blog Dashboard until someone else reviews it as part of an approval workflow. Knowing where to locate that draft is an important step in completing the process of creation through publication.

How to do it: Navigate to the Blog Board you had saved your post draft to. Scroll down on the page until you find the Blog Dashboard widget located on the right-hand side. Click the “View All Drafts” drafts link. Your own Blog drafts and any others you may have access to (account permissions dependent) will be found there.

Keep in Mind: Only Esri staff, Esri Community MVPs, and members with the Blog Author role can create Blog drafts in Places; however, any members can create Blog drafts in User Groups they’ve joined.
