Esri Community’s Tools & Tips series provides a power-packed serving of “How-To” every month. These micro-sized guides make it easy to level up your platform knowledge and get more out of Esri Community.
The value: You want to view content you have created in the past and find it without knowing the exact wording you had used, which could be entered in a search.
How to do it: You can filter your content whether you are signed in or not.
If you are logged out:
On the Esri Community homepage, click within the search bar at the base of the header. Type in your username and hit enter. Next, click the Members tab and click on your name within the member results. Then click View Profile.
If you are signed in:
Click your avatar on the navigation bar at the top of the screen. Click on My Profile from the menu that appears.
Next, click on the magnifying button on the search bar to bring up the filters. Optionally, use the filters to narrow the search results. For example, use the Type of Post drop down narrow and check off Questions to display results that are questions. Type a keyword or phrase in the search bar and hit enter.
Keep in mind: If looking for a reply or comment you have made, keywords that are in the original title of the post but not in the body of the reply will not be found. Use a keyword from the body of the reply or comment instead.
