The value: Not every Esri Community post needs to re-invent the wheel. There are many great resources already available online that can be leaned on by dropping a link into the message body. At the same time, publishing a long URL can be cumbersome and look unpolished. With the Auto-Title feature, transforming a long URL into a hyperlinked title of the target web page is a snap.
How to do it: While in edit mode, copy and paste the URL you’d like to point others to in the body of your post. If needed, hit the space bar to activate the link. Then, click on the link to reveal an options ribbon and select the Auto-Title feature, shown as a button with a capital letter “A.” This will update the URL into a hyperlinked title of the target web location.

Keep in Mind: Some web source titles may contain special characters that don’t cleanly translate during the Auto-Title process. The hyperlinked title can be edited to correct errors.
