Hello!

I have a question regarding using ArcGIS basemaps in company reports. I work for a consultant company that has a company-wide licence for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online. I like the function to add basemaps, such as ''world imagery'' to your mapping projects. I am wondering if there are any licence/terms of use issues to consider if you would like to include a map that has a basemap layer such as world imagery in a report delivered by my consultant company to a customer, for example. I tried reading up a bit on the terms of use (links below) but did not find it to be entirely clear and I want to know for sure. The way I understood it, it is allowed to use freely as long as you give proper credit to Esri etc. in the manner that is produced as a water stamp in layout view when you view a basemap there? Is that correct?

Hello Joakim,

I recommend reaching out directly to Alice Kavanagh at AKavanagh@esri.com. She is on the data sales team and I believe she would know the right person for you to contact regarding Esri basemap usage.
