Is there a way to auto refresh the data collected through a Crowdsource app? I've gone to the underlying web map and set the refresh interval as per https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/create-maps/set-refresh-interval.htm. The data in the web map refreshes when a user submits a photo, however the crowdsource app wont update until the map zoom level changes (zoom out all the way and then new data displays).
Cheers,
Finnian

No, in the beta version, the Crowdsource story map does not read the refresh interval at this time. It has a custom implantation of the feature service layer so we can symbolize it with clusters. Currently, it will only update when you pan/zoom the map, add a new point, or review (approve/reject) a point in builder. We'll add this to our list of requested enhancements for a future update.
Finnian,
I would almost guess that is by design. Though, I would be curious to see if there is a way to auto-refresh this.

Thanks for the reply Stephen. Will look forward to this being added in the future. The crowdsource story map is great, what I want to do is display it on a wall-mounted screen in the office or at conferences so everyone can see new data coming in - this is where the auto-refresh would be needed.
Thanks for this post, as it helped with a different question I had. I am testing a crowdsourced story map right now and had a colleague submit an entry. When I went to review it, I could not see it in the Review settings, even with "All Contributions" selected. As it turns out, the available submissions are dependent upon the current extent; if I wasn't zoomed out far enough to see the point added by my colleague, it wasn't available to review. Zooming out until I could see all points resolved that issue.
It would be great in a future release if you could list all of the new contributions regardless of where they were placed on the map. Had I not realized this limitation, I might have missed someone's submission!
