I shared my completed Story Map publicly. When others go to view it, they are directed to the ESRI site and asked to enter a password. How do I share the Story Map so that my audience doesn't need a password?

Make sure to share everything in your map with the public.

Can you share the link with us?

Also make sure that all layers and the map the layers are in is shared with the public.

Ok - I checked the permissions and several were indeed marked private.

I'm confident this will fix the issue.

Thanks very much,

Annamarie

Very nice work! It is great how you integrated the historic photos and I like how you also include static maps as images. It's a nice feature of the Story Map Journal that you can include maps simply as images if you don't want to provide an interactive web map.

One tip: In the 'Walter Vail and the Railroad' section, where you display the web site of the Southern Pacific #1673 locomotive via the main stage action: you could use the 'stretch' option for the web page so that it fills the main stage.

Thank you very much!

I used the static Google Earth map because I like the way it angles the view of the buildings, which I don't think the Esri maps can do (but maybe I'm wrong?).

I'll take your advice about stretching the web page.

Best,

Annamarie

Seems like 2/3 of the bullets work , but then if you click the next one it'll boot you to ESRI online log-in...are there layers on those specific bullets/pages that are not shared publicly?
