ArcReader Label VBScript Expressions

Having a problem with ArcReader. Labels in PMF files with VBScript Expressions (concatenating two fields, rounding a number etc) do not appear on my XP machine. The same labels work fine on ArcReader on another similar machine. Tried JScript and that does not work either. Labels with just a single text or number field appear correctly. The labels look fine in ArcMap (made on yet another machine) So it seems the VBScript Expression is interpreted at the client but this is somehow broken. It was working fine before on this machine and then something happened to make label expressions not work. Perhaps a script security setting is interfering? I don't know where to start to get this fixed. I can workaround by creating a separate label table and joining for displaying as a single field but I want to fix the problem. Reinstalling ArcReader did not help.

I'm not sure if you were able to get this resolved but we just had a similar issue occur today.  We were able to resolve it by re-registering the vbscript.dll on the affected Windows XP machine.
