Where I can run ArcPad?

Hello everybody,

I need help. I want buy a new device when I will run ArcPad. The problem are I read in the information site of ArcPad only run on Windows Mobile. And Windows Mobile is oldest version. In the new devices run Windows 8 or Windows RT 8. I can run ArcPad on this Windows 8?

Hi there!

ArcPad can be run on the following platforms:


Mobile Device:
    Windows Mobile 5
    Windows Mobile 6, 6.1, or 6.5
    Windows 8 Tablet

Desktop PC:
    Windows 7
    Windows 8

ArcPad does not run on Windows RT

Not on the official list - but I have been running ArcPad on Windows 8.1 as well as Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 without any problems 🙂
