ArcPad has been installed on this Trimble Geo7x for some time now, and has recently stopped connecting to the GNSS server. Anyone know the correct GNSS settings for ArcPad 10.2 to work with this device. It is currently set on Com3 baun 4800 with ArcPad as the means to connect (Com3 is the GNSS server port on the Timble device). Is this the correct settings? Any help would be much appreciated.
You may have already done this - but have you hit the 'binoculars' button on the GPS page? This should search and find the available port.
If this doesn't find it then there's likely something else going on - perhaps NMEA output has been unexpectedly disabled? You can use Trimble's GPS Controller app to re-enable it. I recently came across this video that shows how to do this: Use GPS Controller to turn on NMEA - YouTube
