i calculated in arcgis desktop without the editor session and now a whole column ist without a value. As i read, no undo is possible, but i've the arcpad axf file from yesterday and i would like to import this special column to recover it.
i've Version 10.0 so i think the second step would be the best solution.
No further changes have been done in the geodatabase and the axf file (with exeption of my bad calculation) so i think resetting the axf_status and overwritting/checking in again will be the best solution. How does this work? Is it possible to change the whole "axf_status" column at once?
If you have ArcGIS 10.1, the data interoperability extension can read AXF data as featureclasses and you could do some magic spatial joining or some other manipulation. If you don't have Data Interop. you could use this too - http://www.safe.com/solutions/for-applications/esri/esri-arcgis/arcpad/
If you have checked the data in from the AXF, you could change the AXF_STATUS column to represent the original state. This could be more tedious.
Let me know which way you decide and we can work through it.
