Positional Estimates In Meters

Since the (latest?) ArcPad release last year, the user can view estimated positional measure of quality within the GPS Position Window, either inside the Quality tab, or within the Data tab if EPE/HPE/VPE are selected when tapping the positional measurement (instead of the default PDOP). However we just recently realized these are only displayed in meters (we thought if the options were set to 'ft' or 'projection' these would be in ft). This is actually a big difference for RTK users, and should probably be stated more obviously. While converting feet to meters really is not difficult, it would be good to skip that step completely to cancel out any user error in the field...

Any suggestions?

Paul,
I agree that it should be more obvious what units are being used for EPE and the user should be able to decide which units are used.  It would also be nice if you could set EPE as the main display property on the GPS Position Window instead of elevation.

If you are a Trimble GPSCorrect user and you turn on the status bar in your ArcPad map, it will display your positional accuracy as you have set it up in GPSCorrect.  In my case, it displays the estimated accuracy after postprocessing, in inches.  This spot on the status bar toggles between your map scale and the accuracy estimate.
