Hi there,
I would be appreciated if you could solve this issue that I'm currently facing with.

I'm attempting to check out those two feature layers in order to edit and update in the field.
However, the layer called "fall_plz" does not contain "Check Out for disconnected editing in Arcpad" under "Action" field while the other layer ("Falling_corner") has one.

Please refer to the attached file.

Thanks.

Hello,

There could be two things to check that might be causing this behavior. One is to make sure that the layer called "fall_plz" is a feature class (stored within a geodatabase) and the other is to make sure that the coordinate system of the "fall_plz" layer matches the coordinate system of the Data Frame. If this layer is a feature class and the coordinate system matches that of the data frame, you should see the option for disconnecting editing during the check out process.

Hope this helps!

We are having a problem like this but we are not able to check out any data. We are running Windows 7 64bit with ArcGIS 10.1 and ArcPad 10.04. We would sure like to find a solution for this.

Hey riptele,

Are you getting any error messages or does ArcMap just crash when you try to check out? Are you working with Shapefiles or Feature Classes within your mxd? Have you tried adding the data you are trying to check out to a new, blank mxd and checking it out?

No error messages and no ArcMap crash. We are working with feature classes and we have tried a blank mxd and still no records checked out. The problem started when we moved to 64bit windows 7 and arcgis 10.1.

Running the tool from toolbox we do get an error: Error 000816 The tool is not valid.
