I'm using ArcPad 10 and post-processing with Trimble Positions Desktop Add-In. I've got Trimble Positions ArcPad Extension on a Juno 3D and I'm using ArcGIS for Desktop Advanced 10.1 in the office. I check data out and back in using the add-in. I've successfully tested the software (new to me) on several different geodatabases (personal and file gdb). Today, however, I went back out for some more testing and I get an "invalid geometry" error when I check the data back in. I used the same mxd as one I used a few days ago; the data checked back in fine that time. Points are working, but when I collected a half-dozen arcs with the Add GPS Vertices Continuously tool, all but one had the invalid geometry error. I'm just walking on a sidewalk and picking up my route. I don't see any difference between the arc that has valid geometry and the ones that don't. What does this error mean?
Does anyone know of a Trimble Positions tutorial or crib sheet?
Thanks,
Kim
