Flashing Circle - How to stop and remove from screen

There is an annoying flashing circle on the screen.  I don't know what it is, why it started, and how to get rid of it. It now comes up every time I open my project file. I want rid of it.[ATTACH=CONFIG]11698[/ATTACH]

I fixed it.  The tracklog was turned on in the layers list.  When I turned it off this annoying thing went away.  I have no idea what it is though.

The circle is the 'wait cursor' that lets you know that ArcPad is busy.

If you 'fixed' your problem by turning off the GPS Tracklog - then I would suggest that your Tracklog was quite large and was taking a long time to draw (making ArcPad busy).
