Failed to load layers in ArcPAD

Hi,
i used to checkout data from PC to ArcPad with no problems at all, recently i did new checkout but non of them works in ArcPad, when checking out data i got message from ArcMap (successfuly for all selected layers), when open in ArcPad i recieve this message (Failed to Laod layers), the only opend layers are rasters.
Any idea??

my system environment is ,Windows xp professional SP3, ArcMap 9.3.1 (build 4000)

Hi, I hava a same problem with ArcPad 10. Does anyone know the solution? Thanks.

Usually, this happens to me on my desktop. From my experience, it is usually because I have the .axf open in ArcPad Studio at the same time that I try to open it in ArcMap. I have also seen this on checkout if you are using a template to check-out.  You need full access to the folder where that template resides.  The only other time that I have ever received this message is maybe when I had the .axf open in ArcPad Studio when I tried to sync with my device. It usually just won't work, but sometimes it works but with issues.

Basically, from my experience this usually happens b/c of permissions/locks on data.

Hi, check if the locale setting of PC and the ArcPad are the same. I change the locale setting and it is OK now.
