All,
Less than 3 days ago, I installed ArcPad 8 along with ArcPad 8 Streetmap Premium Tele Atlas NA. Initially, I created a couple test maps and it appeared that everything was working. However, today when I go to add Streetmap 8 I get the following error message: 'Default settings file: C\HOME\StreetMap.rxp is absent or corrupted'.
After clicking the OK button on the first error message, the following message appears:
'Error opening 'C\HOME\ArcPad_8_Streetmap_Premium_Tele_Atlas_NA\_navi_na_day_night.navmap : Error 0'.
My copy of Streetmap 8 was loaded originally here:
C:/Home/ARC_MAP_DATA/ArcPad_8_Streetmap_Premium_Tele_Atlas_NA
Because this software/data was installed at my company offices in Florida and I live in the Midwest, I do not have immediate access to the original CD's that was used. Finally, you should also know that I have only used ArcGIS for the last 8-10 months and I just started using ArcPad last week.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
