So here's my easy question:
I've created a form with several combobox controls, all of which are directed to save whatever I select from the dropdown menus to the same attribute field. However, only the last combobox that I created will actually write data to this attribute field; the others will let me select something from the dropdown menu, but no data is recorded in the attribute table when I check.
This might be easier to explain with a picture:

Basically, I'd like to be able to choose a bird name from a list in one of these comboboxes and record it to my "species" field in the attribute table. If I need to record a bird that isn't on any of those combobox lists, then I'd like to be able to enter the bird's name in the edit control (last in the picture) and have that recorded to the species field. Only the last control of the 4 shown will record data to the species field, even though they're all set to record data there.
I'm a little confused by this, because it works just fine to have combobox and radio button controls write their data to the same attribute field- I tried it.
Any illumination will be greatly appreciated,
