Domains appear incorrect in ArcPad

Greetings,

I'm having problems w/ Domains displaying correctly in ArcPad.  I have a Python script creating a file gdb w/ domains.  In ArcPad my domains are listed alphabetically based on the description field, but I want them to display numerically by their code value.  In an ArcMap edit session everything appears fine.  I tried using ArcPad v 10 & 8 SP 2 will the same result.  I didn't find a solution in ArcPad Studio either.  Any ideas on how to get the drop down list properly sorted?

This is a known issue in ArcPad.  The domains appear in alphabetical order rather than the order of the domains in the geodatabase.

CQ00312805: Coded value domain values are sorted differently in ArcPad edit forms than in the domain itself.

Unfortunately, there isn't a known workaround at this time.
