I am new to arcpad, I am trying to create forms for field collection in a trimble unit but I have never done this before. Are there any links to show you the process of doing this around?

Hey Kyle, the first step that you have to take to build a form is creating an AXF.  While doing that, you will also generate the APM (ArcPad Map) file that will be seen on the data collector.  This link does a good job of showing how to create them and the reasons behind it.

That still leaves creating the form, so use ArcPad Studio to open the AXF you created and under Feature Layers you should have listed the dataset(s) that will be edited.  If you doubleclick the dataset it will bring up the specifics for that dataset.  If you doubleclick <EDITFORM>datasetname it will bring up the form view and you should be able to figure it out from there.
