Can ArcPad 10.04 communicate with ArcGIS Server 10.2.X?

We have an ArcPad 10.04 application that has been certified for a certain purpose.

We do not want to upgrade that application to 10.2 since we would have to go through a laborious and costly certification process once again.

We are standardizing on ArcGIS Server 10.2(.2).

I cannot find information about backwards compatibility of ArcGIS Server 10.2.X with ArcPad 10.04.

Can anyone tell whether ArcPad 10.04 can communicate with ArcGIS Server 10.2.X, be it with or without ArcPad extension?

Hola Maarten,

This is Juan in Support Services. ArcPad 10.0.4 will work together with ArcGIS
Server 10.2, you will need to use the same workflow and tools within ArcMap for
use within ArcGIS Server. Once you are able to upgrade on the ArcPad side to
10.2x, then your workflow will change as you can see within the following blog’s
put out by our ArcPad Development a few years back.
