AXF file losing custom forms

I have been having issues with Arcpad. We created custom forms for use in the field, but occassionally we get low memory messages and the units crash. When the map is reopened, we can only get the attribute tables. The AXF files become altered to the point that the custom forms and scripting no longer show up. Fortunately, no data has been lossed, but the unit has to be reloaded for it to work again. This has happened on a NOMAD and several Juno units. I have search the forums and could not find any similar posts. We are using ArcPAD 10 and recently updated the operating system, but the problem persists.

Following this thread.  I just found this after having the same issue.  I'm using an fairly in-depth applet with customized forms.  I double and triple checked the size of my .axf files, made sure I have the most up to date OS, and have tried using the Task Manager to eliminate anything else going on in the background.  Nothing seems too large or out of the norm, but I get the "low memory" warnings before ArcPad crashes.  Did this ever get resolved for you?

Same issue here.  It's odd because this particular custom form/project combo has been in use for several months and this issue just popped up for me in the last month.  The only difference is that I was on Windows XP when I first started and am now using Windows 7 to check-out and transfer the data to a Trimble GeoXH 6000 series.  Before, I was able to collect hundreds of points with no memory issues, now it seems like I can only collect about 25 before the low memory messages.

Anyone that has any ideas on how to prevent this, I'm all ears.  All unnecessary ArcPad extensions are off and no other programs are running on the mobile unit.
