Is there any way through customization where an ArcPad 10 user can type characters into a drop down field and have a suggested
entry show up? For example, you have a very long list of tree species in an domain (drop down list), you type "As" ....and
"Aspen" shows up and autocompletes for you?
This would be similar to what a standard Google search does when you start typing... and would be a big time saver. I see by defaultthat drop down menus do not respond to the keyboard, so it looks to be something that would have to be achieved through coding.
Thoughts?
