Hello-

I was wondering if anyone has the configuration settings for the YUMA GPA receiver?

I am trying to use ArcPAD 10 with the unit.

Thanks,

Mark

Yuma and ArcPad 10
Protocol = SiRF
Port = COM2
Baud = 4800 or 9600

Yuma, ArcPad10 and GPScorrect
Protocol = Trimble GPScorrect
Port = COM2
Baud = 4800 or 9600

Note.  You can test the unit indoors using the GPS Rangefinder Debug tool to see if your configuration works (GREEN letters if good, RED letters if bad configurartion).  However, the first time I tried to test this inside it didnt work, so I had to take the unit outside to track satellites.  I cant remember if I had to sit out there long enough to obtain an almanac, but you may have to let it sit out there for a little over 12 1/2 minutes to recieve one.

You may also want to make sure that the Virtual GPS program isnt running in the background.
Hope this helps, eric

Is there a benefit in using GPScorrect on a Trimble Yuma?  I've been told that because of the receiver type on the Yuma, post-processing either isn't possible or maybe it is but there is no increase in spatial accuracy.

Thanks.

We have a Yuma + ProXT and it's been working fine with Bluetooth connection between the two.  Now we just got GPSCorrect but we can't seem to get GPSCorrect to talk to the ProXT.  Anyone else have this setup, and have it working?

Paul
