Hello - I am happy to teach myself ArcPad customization if this is at all possible. I wish to populate fields in an ArcPad feature attribute table with specific measurement outputs from a Lasertech 360b range finder via bluetooth. For those of you not familiar - this device is able to combine distance measurements with incline measurements and bearing measurements to remotely calculate positions in 3D. It has a routine that you measure two remote locations from the same viewing position and it can provide the attributes of the adjoining line. Speecifically Azimuth, Slope Distance, Vertical Distance, Horizontal Distance, and Incline of the imaginary line between the two remote points. I want to suck out the Vertical Distance and Incline to populate attribute in a table which record the height and slope of cliff faces. Is this possible??
