ArcPad 7.1 on Windows 7

We are migrating from Windows XP to Windows 7 and I am wondering if ArcPad 7.1 and the ArcPad Data manager for 7.1 (in ArcGIS10) will run well.  Anyone out there using a Windows 7 machine with ArcGIS 10 and ArcPad 7.1 to support field devices?

Hi Rosie it should all be fine, but with the older versions we obviously don't do as much certification. having said that ArcPad will run on Windows 7 fine.

Hmm actually someone in my office is now working with IT to try to solve a problem.  They can't see/use the data manager.  We're hoping this article resolves the issue:
