ArcPad 7.0.1 ArcGIS Desktop Tools

I tried ArcPad 7.0.1 ArcGIS Desktop tool "Get Data for ArcPad 7" in ArcGIS Desktop 9.4 Beta 2 ArcMap - ArcEditor License via Customize menu under Tools.  I created a new toolbar on the tab under the Customize menu and from the commands tab added the ArcPad 7.0.1 command "Get Data for ArcPad 7" to the toolbar by dragging and dropping the command onto the toolbar.  Then clicking in the toolbar on this command in the ArcMap 9.4 Beta 2, this configuration failed to invoke the "Get Data for ArcPad 7" command; no action occured - no menu became available, no error occured.

I conclude that ArcPad 7.0.1 ArcGIS Desktop tool "Get Data for ArcPad7" is not functional in ArcGIS Desktop 9.4 Beta 2.

I am interested in ArcPad 7.0.1 ArcGIS Desktop tools integration with ArcGIS 9.4 Beta 2 to support the present GPS infrastructure of my organization.

Unfortunately, ArcPad 7.0.1 was retired as of December 2009 and is no longer supported by ESRI via phone or email (Please see the ArcPad Product Life Cycle for more details).  However, you may still post any questions or issues you might have to the user forums.
