I???ve been trying to use an OS annotation layer on Arcpad. I can get the labels to show but only at very small scales. Once the map scale is increased (above just over 1:1000) all the labels pretty much drop out, even though they could still be placed without conflict on the screen.
I???ve searched high and low looking for labelling controls and can only find those for the anno layer itself. I did read in the helpfile that an arcpad config file overrides the layer symbology, but I cant seem to find these settings or further explanation in the help. No scale thresholds exist so I can???t understand why the labels are so reluctant to display.
I???m pretty new to arcpad and palmtops etc, so perhaps I???m expecting too much. But if anyone can give me some tips on the best way of getting labels to display in arcpad that would be appreciated.
