Is there any estimated time frame on a new release from Trimble that will enable users to use GPScorrect & GPSanalyst in ArcMap10/ArcPad10? Or a patch? Or perhaps some kind of work-around? I installed ArcGIS10, loved it. Then had to uninstall it and re-install 9.3.1 so I could do GPS field work. Very, very frustrating.

Trimble currently has releases of both products which work with ArcPad 10 / ArcGIS Desktop 10.

To utilize these products with ArcPad 10 / ArcGIS Desktop 10 you will need the following product versions:

GPScorrect: v3.14 and newer (3.14, 3.15, 3.16)

If you're using the 6000 series GeoExplorer you will need to utilize GPScorrect v3.20

GPS Analyst: v2.3 (ArcGIS 10 SP0) or v2.4 (ArcGIS 10 SP1)

Tim,

Does this address the errors associated with checking out data using the Trimble GPS Analyst toolbar?  Each time I use the 'Get Data For ArcPad' tool and have data set to Checkout it crashes ArcMap.  It does create a folder with background shapefiles, but any of the checked out data is empty.  Exporting the data as shapefiles seems to work as intended.

Jason,

Are you checking out the data and storing the check out folder on a network location?  If you are, if you save the check out to your local machine does the folder get properly created?

There was an issue with this in an earlier release of ArcPad 10.  Please install ArcPad 10 SP2 (10.0.2) and see if the issue is still present.

Thanks.
