Will a standalone arcobjects 10 app run on a machine with ArcMap 9.3 installed

Hi there,

Could somebody please tell me what will happen to a Standalone ArcObjects 10 app (written using the cross platform C++ ArcObjects SDK) if somebody tries to run it on a machine which has ArcDesktop 9.3.1 installed?

The App would not use any ver. 10 specific features.
Will the app run on the machine with ArcMap 9.3.1 or will it not?
