Using Bentley.Interop.MicroStationDGN.dll and Bentley Microstation DGN Object Library

Hi,

Can I use Bentley.Interop.MicroStationDGN.dll instead of using COM interface MicroStationDgn ( Bentley Microstation DGN Object Library) ?

My application  is using COM interface MicroStationDgn for reading Dgn files. It requires MicroStation V8i must be installed on my computer.

I want still can run my application without installing Microstation V8i. But, there are some differences between Bentley.Interop.MicroStationDGN.dll and Bentley Microstation DGN Object Library

For example: Bentley.Interop.MicroStationDGN.ApplicationClass doesn't include the methode OpenDesignFile
