How do I add labels to my feature layer using VS 2008 & ArcGISEngine 10

I've searched through the ArcObjects developer help for .Net 2008 but can't find anything on how to add labels to my feature layer in code.  I want to add a label for each feature based on a specific field value.

Could someone please get me started and point me in the right direction here on how to do this.
