Find a point location along a route

Hello, it was trying to make work this code, http://edndoc.esri.com/arcobjects/9.0/Samples/Linear_Referencing/Arcmap/FindPointRouteLocation.htm  but it me does not work. I have created the featureclass that is indicated: roads_route_hwy (polyline M), but it does not locate the point. Can someone say to me that I am doing badly?
