AddIn: Add new menu to MainMenu

Hi folks

how can i add a new Menu to ArcMap's MainMenu using an Add-In? The isRootMenu-tag in esriaddinx just adds the menu to the Customize Window. But i need the menu to be loaded to the MainMenu on StartUp of ArcMap.
