Table appearance default font

Hi,

I had a weird problem with the attribute table font shown as symbols. I found the solution by changing the "Table Font" (Costumize> ArcMap Options> Table> Table Font) from "Wingdings" back to "Arial," and it worked.

The problem is that the font goes back to "Wingdings" every time I close the program. Is there any way to set "Arial" as default?

I am surprised your steps do not make "Arial" persistent as the default font.  Sorry, I do not have any suggestions.
