Map of polygons from xy coordinates

I'm trying to create a map of essentially many rectangles, each from having one corner as an xy coordinate I imported into ArcMap (.dbf file). The rectangles are 16m x 20m, 3m x 3m, and 2m x 2m

I've imported the xy coordinates but can't get further. I can't draw any lines or polygons--I can't click on the "start editing" button. I've created one polyline and one polygon shape file, but can't add features in them. I think I could make a route and add points at the 2m/3m/16m/20m points, but I can't make a route (box pops up that says "no acceptable target available. make route creates M aware polylines).

This should be a fairly simple project--import coordinates, draw polygons of certain size stemming from each coordinate--but I keep running into hurdles I can't find answers to. Any help at all would be fabulous!! 🙂

As I understand your problem, you have been able to create a set of points, but you want polygons.

This tool might help:

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/defense/coordinate-table-to-polygon.htm

Or, if you have a set of XY points on your map, you could also manually digitize the polygons.

I'd export the EX event layer to a new point feature class.

I'd then create a polygon feature class.

I'd start editing the polygon feature class, set snapping to the point feature class, and begin sketching polygons.
