Definition Query Change

Hi all,
I'm looking to alter the extent/boundary of a pre existing definition query which shows varying terrain types within a local study area. I was hoping to alter it using a new boundary (1040-222_Final_Disturbed_Polygon) and am having trouble with the process. Any tips/advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
