I am trying to install ArcGIS Desktop (10.8.1 and even tried 10.8.2) and each time when it comes to authorization, and I put in either our current .prvc or current ESU ID, I get the following error (see attached). 7054: The requested count exceeds the fulfilled amount.

I know it has to do with the license on my old file is still active, but I can't seem to delete anything off of MyEsri to see if I can open it in order to get the program activated. Any thoughts?

Yes.

You need to login to your organization Profile, select the three horizontal lines at the top to see more options, go to Licensing Tools >Recover Lost Licenses.

Run through that, and it should enable your lost license for use.

hughesmichael, you need to release the license from your old PC before you can use it to activate the software on your new pc.

on your old pc > start arcgis administrator > select  Support Operations > select Deauthorize.

This will release the license and allow you to use it on your new pc to authorize the software there.

Hi Jim,

I realize this but unfortunately, I no longer have access to my old PC. Is there an alternative?

Thanks,
Mike
