I recently upgraded my iPad to iOS 10 and noticed the "My Location" button is not working on my WAB app.

Other people experiencing the same issue?

Thanks,

Maria

Bug link is getting an error right now. May be issues with site, but it may be locked to your customer number.  You may want to include a clip of the but description in this thread.

Update from Esri Support

BUG-000099505:  In some browsers, the LocateButton widget does not disappear or gets disabled when a JavaScript application is loaded over HTTP.

However, development has closed this bug as this is not technically an Esri issue.  Here is their public explanation: "

This is a browser specific behavior. Note on https://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2016/04/14/increased-web-api-security-in-google-chrome/ it states, "...some of the HTML5 web APIs require websites to be using a secure origin like HTTPS to work correctly."

Therefore, I would look at some of the solutions outlined in the blog and depending on where your data is hosted, adjusting the security parameters.

It seems that this problem has remained unresolved, for the most part. My web mapping applications are set to https and I am able to geolocate on desktop, but I am unable to geolocate on mobile devices. I have verified that I have the correct setting for location services on all mobile browsers. I have a few public facing applications that are useless without a geolocation feature. Has anyone else found a solution to this problem?
