I have a map in a web app (ArcGIS Web Application). I have my operational layers set to load as you see.

I would like to be able to change which operational layers load in the URL so I can simply have one web app, and when I embed on my website or send links, I can have individual embeds that load just the recreation access layer or just the NPDES discharge permits or perhaps two layers: the drinking water intakes + senate districts. All off the same map.

Is there a way to do this in the URL for a Web App like you can in a web MAP? &layers=<ID> did not work.

Seems like extent and a whole host of other parameters can be set in the Share --> Link Options part... just not operational layers to automatically display when the app pulls up.

Spencer,

You are correct there is NO url parameter for operational layers:

Use URL parameters—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

The one you may be able to use is the webmap

http://doc.arcgis.com/en/web-appbuilder/manage-apps/app-url-parameters.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_F70E9F0E4D3...

This would allow you to open a web map with just the operational layers you want to use (requires you to build a web map for each of your use cacses).
