Zoom Tool does not work in 3.4

When I try to use the Zoom In Tool on the Zoom Bar at the left side of the Map Window it does not activate. The Zoom Slider Bar work good. But, the icon under it with the "+" Magnifying Glass does not.

It worked fine in 3.0.

Any ideas?

   Try closing the edit widget.
