TOC v2.5 - expanded layer updates?

Hi,

Just wondering if the updated TOCwidget allows you to expand only one layer? I currently have <expanded> set to false but I would like to have just one of those layers expanded, is this possible?

I read in this previous thread that it is either all or nothing:

Just wondering if this has been updated since?
